During this residency, I created a body of work inspired by the natural surroundings and my exploration of environmental sustainability. The residency culminated in a showcase of my artwork, including paintings, photos, poems, and seed bombs.

On view in the Glass Aquarium Hall Gallery is Vital Shreds: Studio Faculty Exhibition, featuring recent work by South Plains College studio art faculty: Chris Adams, Sawyer Crane, Kara Donatelli, and Scotty Hensler. This exhibition highlights the diverse approaches and practices of SPC’s teaching artists, offering insight into the creative foundations shaping the college’s art program. Vital Shreds runs concurrently with Blasphemous Nerves through Friday, October 17, 2025.
